This was a great event – a mini festival of sorts held at The Ace Centre in Nelson. With a line of around 30 bands it was a challenge to photograph every single one of these bands, especially seen as I ditched my comrades to go and play another gig on the same day (with a freshly broken finger might I add).

My broken finger didn’t halt the recent activities of Spitfire, but my leg popping out did!

It wasn’t long afterwards the bassist (Lee Walmsley) and I decided to take a permanent vacation from the band in search of new things.
